DuPont State Recreational Forest is a very popular multi-use, bi-directional trail system, so be on the lookout for hikers, horses, and other cyclists. It is normally open in any weather although it can close in extended periods of freeze/thaw during the winter.

Description

Wintergreen Falls begins off of Tarkiln Branch Road and is mostly flat doubletrack until the intersection with Sandy where the trail climbs steeply up to a viewing area of the Wintergreen Falls of Grassy Creek. This is a good spot to take a mid-ride break and cool off in the pools below the falls.

Rode with lily started at sky parking lot went wrong way wanted to hit another trail but this one hood ended at small fall then looped back
