Description

Slow 'N Easy splits left from El Moro Canyon and climbs, weaving in and out, up the hillside to the ridge. Then it turns right up the ridgeline, and for a few hundred yards it's around 15%, a very painful stretch. The wide doubletrack mellows as it approaches the crest, and junctions with East Loop, Fenceline, and Bommer Ridge Rd.

The trail surface is mostly dirt for the first half, then turns rocky near the ridge. As a south-facing slope, the trail gets a lot of sunshine, so when it's dry (all the time) it tends to get broken up into powder and loose rock, making the steep middle section a really tough climb. The last half-mile, on top of the ridge, has veins of solid rock, which can make for a fast, but bumpy ride.
