Description

Four Hills is criss-crossed with 4X4 roads but there is a surprising amount of singletrack hidden in the mix. This loop connects the fragments to provide the most possible singletrack riding.

Park at the end of Stagecoach Rd and head up the dirt road. In about 800 feet you'll see a gap in the fence on the left. Go through this and continue straight uphill. The widetrack will soon turn into nice singletrack threading between boulders.

Along the way various widetracks and roads will be crossed. Typically you'll see the singletrack carrying on. If not, the GPS route has been carefully matched to the imagery so just check the MTBProject app at any complex junctions.

The trail stops at a road overlooking a steep valley to the east. Turn left here and begin the fun downhill run part of the loop.

At the bottom of this run the intersection area is a bit complex, as you are using widetrack to get back onto singletrack. Take a left onto widetrack. After 85 feet, hang a right into a sand wash. Go down this for 170 feet, watching for a singletrack coming in from your left. Head up this narrow path between boulders.

This gradually turns into widetrack near the large water tank. Head downhill to complete the loop or turn right and head north to other trails.
