The Beaver Pond Trail starts just past the campground beach. After a short wet rocky introduction, the trail mellows. This pattern will repeat with mellow flat sections and easy bridges followed by short rocky climbs, rock features and tight turns. One 15 foot climb and drop is very hard to get clean. Past this section, the trail climbs onto slabs just above the water. There a bench here and good views.
The trail drops down the slabs next to the water, crosses a short rock garden and turns away from the water one final time at a tricky left turn and climb. It ends shortly after at the Lynx Trail.
