Description

This trail has everything from fast smooth singletrack to bone-jarring mini-rock gardens to twisty, steep, mildly technical descents. Nice variety and flow.

The eastern end of the trail runs through Depression-Era Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) ruins and abandoned structures from the original USFS Monument Nursery site. Look for foundations, walkways, and other reminders of the site's role in national forestry management and Depression Era New Deal.
