Trials Pro Jeff Lenosky Helps You Clean The Toughest Trail in Texas

The MTB Project database is full of black and double black diamond trails… Nearly 7,000 to be exact.

This got me thinking about the sections of “unrideable” trail I hear lore of every time I visit a new location. Maybe there are a handful of locals who can clean these burly trails, but for most, conquering them remains a fleeting dream.

This is how the idea for Trail Boss, a new video series in partnership with MTB Project, Giant Bicycles, and Oskar Blues Brewing, was hatched and brought to life. In this first episode, I check out the Emma Long Motocross Park Trail, near Austin, TX. As you can see in the above video, the trail there is full of big, chunky limestone ledges that present supreme technical challenges for both climbing and descending. Ready to tackle this one yourself?

Here’s all the info you need to get after it:

Next up, I’ll be tackling the infamous National Trail in Phoenix, AZ. Stay Tuned!
