Description

This is an 1,100 foot climb from the HWY 93 trailhead. The climb is tough and steep - 15% grades near the top, but a very rewarding downhill. It is a narrow, technical, and fast downhill.

Badger trail is a favorite for locals and is often done as an out and back. At the end of Badger is Castle Rock Trail, also part of the Cerbat Foothills Rec. Area. If you continue straight on Castle Rock it adds another .6 miles to the ride making it a nice 8 mile training route.
