“A connector trail bench cut into the hillside with awesome views.”
— John Myers on Jun 1, 2013
Overview1:35 average time for 12.1 miles. Details
DescriptionIt's a fun trail, but has its rough spots. Castle Rock Trail is a 4 mile connector trail for Badger, and Camp Beale Loop, and continues out to Castle Rock. The section from Badger to Castle Rock gets a lot of traffic, but the section between Badger and Camp Beale Loop gets little. Is actually a sweet intermediate level trail that has some mild exposure and killer views.
Signage is not very good along the trail, but you can stop by the local BLM office and they have maps to give out with the whole 32 miles of trails on them. Or use the MTB Project mobile app.
