Fort Ord National Monument trails are closed from 30 minutes after sunset to 30 minutes before sunrise.

Description

Trail 32 drops down the hillside from Sandy Ridge Road and ends at Engineer Canyon Road. It starts out with a couple rocky bits and then winds through Manzanita and Oak along the hillside until a steep section that turns through two trees and then continues dropping down the hillside. After winding down the hill a bit more through the Oak trees, it dumps out the bottom onto the road.

Most riders will continue across the road at the bottom and head onto Trail 35 for a nice climb up to Manzanita Road.

This trail is popular with trail runners and pretty tight with limited visibility so watch around the turns.
