“Singletrack through woods and old forest fire burn that accesses the CDT.”
— David Lingle on May 17, 2013
DescriptionThis trail is singletrack connecting the Trail Creek Valley near Hogan Cabin to the Elk Creek and Continental Divide Trails.
The upper section of trail runs through old forest fire. The lower section is through forest and has log waterbars. The middle is on a forest road for now, and the actual trail is covered in deadfall and will be cleared by local mountain bike clubs soon.
If ridden up, this is a challenging climb. Ridden down, Hogan Trail is a quick, fun descent with tricky waterbars.
