Description
The historic Tabeguache trail connected Grand Junction to Montrose and offers an exceptional trail experience along its length. In the Lunch Loops section, it is non-motorized.

The old dirt road is reverting back to a trail and offers some nice riding. Quite steep with section that are erroded, the trail is no longer a primary trail for the system, but is being featured in the Grand Junction Off-Road mountain bike event hosted by Epic Rides.

This trail has some technical sections including Widowmaker Hill that will challenge the fittest and most skilled. But most of the trail is rideable and enjoyable by everyone. The trail offers great views and some amazing scenery.
