Family Friendly Great for kids that have mastered Cottonwood Trail and Tulip Poplar Trail.

Description

Starting from the north, there is a small, fun descent that is great for kids, but the remainder will consist of 3 or 4 short wide smooth climbs that are not overly taxing but could be a challenge to some. Not all is lost though, because at the end of this one, the Shale Barrens Trail offers a fast drop back to the river. Some sections have a view overlooking the river, Culler's Trail, and River Trail. Starting from the south, the trail will offer some short, fun downhill sections.
