Start at the small alpine hut of Ca de Mez (elev.1.230m; mostly closed). Follow an old doubletrack through the meadow and some trees to Malga Gi (elev. 1,270m). Here you can get here some food or beverages.

Now the quality of the track gets better and becomes a forest road. You're back on the marked path #419. Here you'll encounter the steep slope above the meadows on this forest road. It leads, with some bends, to the top of the pass Bocca Cast (elev. 1,603m).
