Description

This trail is referred to as "The Blues," "Boy Scout Trail," or "The Cave Trail."

This trail starts at the "Cave" and eventually leads you out of the trail system near the treeline. Once at the "Cave" follow the arrows and enter the "Cave" trail. You start off with a short downhill section with a few tight spots. Immediately you'll have a 180-degree turn working your way back up the hill. You'll pass through a small gravel area with plastic pavers that help with a wet area and a small bridge.

Once over that you'll crest the top of a small hill and work your way down the hill towards the parking lot. There is a section with two tight trees. At the bottom, you'll curve around through some tight turns with roots and work you way back up the hill and cross another bridge.

At this point, you follow the trail to the right to enter the Rock Garden. Once completing the Rock Garden cross the bridge and work your way down the twisting singletrack. Shortly after the next bridge the trail will split. Make sure to follow the arrows and take the trail to the right. You'll be greeted with a small climb and after that the trail is mostly flat.

Continue following the trail through some tight twisting singletrack. Eventually, you'll go through a section that has three small tight rollers and turns to the right, watch your speed through this. After that, you'll continue through the trail until you'll have a small creek crossing and you are nearly to the end. Continue along the trail through the dip with some pavers and a drainage pipe. You'll turn back to follow along the lower section of a small ridge and then work you way back up that ridge.

Once at the top of the ridge you'll follow the trail down the other side of it. You'll encounter an intersection. Go straight through the intersection and down the hill. There is a small drop off of a root that can catch you if you're not expecting it. Continue following that trail up a small but steep rooty climb and that will take you out to the treeline near the parking lot.
