Description

Gooseneck Trail is fairly narrow singletrack but it has many twist and tighter turns. It is not a very fast trail but is somewhat narrower than other trails in the area. The trail connects you with several other great places to ride. This area is mainly Decomposed Granite, so loose stuff on top of hard!

This trail starts off of the Rock Knob Trail and meanders North and West. About 2 miles in there is a connector that you can take to hop on Pemberton Loop in McDowell Mountain Park. About 3.5 miles in you'll cross a dirt road and eventually you'll cross Dynamite Blvd. as you are now entering the Browns Ranch area. This trail takes you to the Fraserfield Trailhead where you can then enjoy the many other trails in that area of the preserve.

Part of this trail was burned by the Diamond Fire in June 2023. The trail remains in good shape. The signs are all intact. 15mi — 2h 00m
