This beginner trail is great for kids as there is very little uphill and a great view, to boot.

Description

This trail starts near the Redfish Lake Corrals at Redfish Lake. There are only modest rocks and roots and trail use by others inhibits speed. All of this makes for a great family ride. You can park at the entrance of Redfish Lake Road on Hwy 75 for a longer, yet still beginner ride.

There are few views along the trail, but the end offers one of the best picnic spots in Idaho. You'll find yourself nearly surrounded by high Sawtooth peaks. Additionally, you can stash your bike off trail and explore the wilderness area above. There's also a yurt at the end that can be rented and comes with its own rustic hot-tub.

A great out and back trail for beginners! Took a first time rider out. She was a little wigged out by the rocks and roots. Beautiful views. 2mi
