Description

From the visitors center, this trail is the most northern route in the park. It is a very wide trail that is heavily used as an alternative to the first part of the Goldmine Trail, which it eventually connects into. San Tan Mountain Regional Park claims that the trail was historically used by General Motors for testing vehicles. The trail is fairly straightforward with a few washes that you have to cross and a few sandy spots.
