Description

This is a rough trail that is heavily used by the horseback crowd (at least the first half). It has multiple creek and stream crossings and is hard to follow at times, so use the MTB Project mobile app to follow along. The last half, going down into Hermosa Creek Trail, is a fun and fast descent through the ponderosas.

Got sucked N to Elk Ck on worn trail at switchbacks down into little elk drainage. Fun trail. Not much usage.
