Description

The H1 Coachwhip trail is a nice cruiser trail just north of the 101 in Glendale. There are a number of great climbs and cruiser sections. There are a couple switchback areas and a very technical rock garden. These sections make the ride very fun, but are not for novices. There are a couple great viewpoints over looking Glendale and Phoenix.

Drawbacks: The trail is not very well maintained and eroded areas can be rocky and bumpy. This is also a popular hiking spot so there can be trail traffic.
