Description

The Bead Lake Trail is an approximately 6 mile, family-friendly trail. The trail journeys along the east side of Bead Lake and stays just above the shoreline. The scenery is beautiful with lots of views of the lake and has a deep forest feel in many places. There are areas of cedar groves with open sections of forest. It has a really nice mixture of forest elements to offer everyone.

For a mountain bike trail, the Bead Lake Trail offers a fun and yet challenging ride.
The trail consists of mostly hard packed dirt with sections of loose trail gravel and rock. There are some fun descents along with some short challenging climbs. It has a handful of wooden bridges to cross that add to the fun factor. The trail is fast so have some fun, but be cautious and cognizant of hikers.

There great options for camping along the way with clean camping sites build up by the community of backpackers.

All in all, the Bead Lake Trail is fun little adventure!

Coming down Bead Lake trail from top trailhead. The first in the series of fun switch backs. Fun, fast descent at this point.
