Larison Rock starts off of Larison Rock Road just past a parking area. First timers should stay left to begin and pedal/push/hike up to the Larison Rock viewpoint and then ride back down to catch the main trail.

The main trail starts straight away from the road. Initially it descends tight singletrack through big moss covered trees, contouring across steep hillsides.

The route then transitions to a steep descent down the nose of a ridge before rolling out to traverse across the top of a connecting ridge. Larison Rock then goes back to more fast sections of narrow bench cut trail on steep side slopes.

The lower reaches get a little rowdy at times. The terrain is a mix between steep, chunky trail and tight singletrack that ducks in and out of drainages. Beware of your speed around blind corners and exposure on the downside of the trail.

Larison Rock ends at La Duke Rd. To head back to town, turn right on La Duke Rd and then stay left at Greenwaters Trail.
