This easy doubletrack trail loops around the base of the observatory and exits on the left hand side of the visitors center after intersecting the Wissahickon trail.

Enter the trail at the upper entrance to the park, you may need to ride through the grass or climb a small set of stairs to get to the trail. Alternatively, most people on bikes can enter the trail via the connector on the South side of the observatory off Riverview ave.

Observatory Trail provides access to the trails on the north and west side of the park via the Wissahickon Trail which starts behind the vistors center.
