“A gentle cruise with a small climb - great for linking together an easy ride in and around Niwot.”
— Michael Ahnemann on Nov 29, 2012
DescriptionThis is the upper part of the Niwot Loop trail. Basically an out and back, with a small loop up top to form a lollypop.
It's essentially a steady climb up and a descent back to your starting point. It's all man-made, smooth dirt trail.
Because you climb up above Niwot, you'll end up with nice views of Niwot and Boulder, all the way West to the front range.
There are plenty of options to connect this trail to other trails as part of the Niwot network of trails that also connect Gunbarrel and Longmont.
