Overview
2:06 average ride time for 15.7 miles. Details

North Table Mountain is an easy ride, great for beginners and intermediates looking to better their mountain biking skills. The climbs aren't the typical brutal front range climbs. There are a couple technical sections that allow you to hone in your riding skills. The top offers views of the foothills to the west, Golden to the south, and Denver to the east.
Need To Know
A seasonal closure of Rim Rock Trail is in effect until July 31, 2014. A section of Mesa Top Trail is closed due to flood damage.
Description
First, you'll start out in the West Parking lot. Ride north on the North Table Loop . Stay left at the North Table Loop and Mesa Top Trail intersection. You can stay on the North Table Loop or take the Tablerock Trail to the left. Continue North Table Loop staying right at the 1st and 2nd neighborhood access trails. Continue staying right at the North Table Loop and Lithic Trail intersection. Here is a short climb, arriving at the intersection of North Table Loop and Cottonwood Canyon Trail. Go straight to stay on the Cottonwood Canyon Trail to the top of the mesa.

Now you are done with a majority of the hard climb, and enjoy the smooth rolling doubletrack. At the intersection of Cottonwood Canyon Trail and Mesa Top Trail, turn right onto the Rim Rock Trail. Stay left and complete the Rim Rock Trail back to the Mesa Top trail. At Mesa Top, turn right and then your next left onto the Tilting Mesa Trail. Turn right at the next intersection to get back on the North Table Loop. Before descending down, you are going to get to a technical section that has a few rock stairs. After this technical section, stay on North Table Loop backtracking to the parking lot.
