Overview

This ride is part of the renowned Boulder City Mountain Bike Park - Bootleg Canyon. It's a very fun singletrack ride with great fast flowing terrain.

Description

Park off the road at Veterans drive just up from the Veterans Home near some large placed boulders. Ride the POW Trail up moderately steep to Par None. Take a right turn on Par None and the climb eases off with exception of a couple short sections.

Continue to the IMBA Trail and turn left. There will be a right option before reaching the IMBA - stay left. Follow the IMBA on mostly smooth and twisty narrow singletrack to the first left turn which is P.O.W.

POW's descent is a lot of fun with mostly smooth sweeping turns and several opportunities for a little air - but be careful with your speed as you pass a short rocky section along a hillside - the fairly steep drop coming can take you by surprise and catch your attention.

Follow this exhilarating trail back to parking or ride back up Par None and do laps.
