This 11 mile or so trail system is a hidden treasure of the T-town locals who often mountain bike, run, or hike it on a daily basis after work or school.

The Sokol Main Trail is the major artery running through most of Sokol Park. Many of the loops and side trails can be accessed from the Main Trail. Typically, riders will access the Main Trail to the left just off the street next to the PARA maintenance building. After a couple tights turns with roots, the trail goes downhill deeper into the woods. You'll cross over a wooden bridge and continue up to the Della Raye Loop access.

Most riders prefer to do the 1.5 mile Della Raye Loop clockwise before continuing on with the Main Trail up to the multi-purpose (soccer) fields. Follow the singletrack back into a small section of woods until you reach the fire road. You'll cross the fire road and head back into the woods.

If you're feeling adventurous and possess the correct level of riding skill, try out Antique Creek just off the Main Trail (either direction). The Main Trail continues around the outer perimeter of the park skirting The Towns community before taking you deeper into the woods and along one of the parks creeks. The Main Trail meanders through the woods a little longer until you reach the two entrances to Troll.

Again, many riders prefer to complete the Troll Loop (either direction) before finishing this section of the Main Trail and arriving back out on the fire road. Continue up the fire road for about 200 yards (crossing a bridge over the main creek) until you reach the next entrance to the trail on the left.

Just after entering the woods, you have the choice to get off the Main Trail and tackle Lower Psycho. However, if you continue on the Main Trail, you'll make a brief but semi-strenuous climb with switchbacks all the way back to the PARA maintenance building.
