Description

Trailhead parking is off Lee Canyon Rd. Lower Bristlecone winds up through the towering pines to the Upper Bristlecone Trail & Bonanza Trail (No MTB).

The climb is steady but the grade is not so steep, enjoyable...as climbs go. It's straightforward climbing on dirt road. Worth it for the connection with Upper Bristlecone Trail.

Stay on the alert for hikers as this is a very popular hiking trail as well!

The intersection between Bristlecone Loop and the longer Bonanza Trail. Approx. 9000' in elevation. Extremely arduous bike ride that ripped apart my thigh muscles.
