“A jeep road that steeply climbs Smuggler Mt., providing access to Warren Lakes and Benedict Huts.”
— Mike Pritchard on Sep 25, 2013
DescriptionThis road is very steep in the middle section, and often rocky (read: some hike-a-bike sections). Once you're 'on top' of the mountain you have several miles of less steep terrain to make good time on if you're riding out and back to Warren Lakes or the Benedict Huts. Open to motor vehicles, but you're unlikely to see much traffic, other than the occasional motorcycle.
Rated intermediate given rocky sections and overall effort required.
