“Great scenery, fun switchbacks, flowy trail and some exposure. Great Ride!”
— Eric Emerson on Sep 23, 2013
DescriptionGreat climbing or descending trail, fewer roots than North Ridge Trail, less stress and a great introductory trail to the temperament of North Ridge. Exposure exists in a few sections of trail and caution should be exercised when both climbing and descending.
Try to climb East Ridge and not walk or dab a foot. Climbing this trail is a challenge that will give you a lifetime of goals for many a rider. Please be aware that many hikers frequent this great trail - give right of way to them and be aware on blind corners.
