Description

This trail can be ridden as an out and back from a small trailhead with a kiosk on Johnny Park Road. It is also the only reasonable way to get back to the road if you have descended the North Sheep Mountain Trail to the Button Rock Trail along the North Saint Vrain Creek.

The trail crosses a few meadows, includes some doubletrack, and is generally characterized by buff tread and pleasant forest. There is an old log cabin ruin near the creek.

Coulson TrailHead near the parking lot on Johnny Park road. Fairly constant grade, a grunt of a climb in places but doable and smooth-ish.
