Scraped, cut, punctured, bruised and battered....these are words you'll become intimate with if you ride here with "developing" technical skills. My first ride here left me with less blood than what I came with, and the will to return (with armour) to conquer the beast.

I consider myself strong intermediate skill-wise, and this was the most difficult trail I have ridden to date (1.5 years), full of bouldery obstacles. Many of the features are very unique and the challenges are interestingly enticing. I consider this trail a playground for the XC masochists. I may be overstating this...just maybe.

The trail is tight, difficult to follow (keep a sharp eye for small cairns) and a megaton of fun. There is also an ample supply of cactus on the very edge of the trail, ready to become one with you (trust me on this one) & your tires.

All said, this trail is new on my favorites list and it is likely to be on yours as well.

**NOTE** As with most if not all of the trails at Cowboy, body armour is recommended unless your technical skills are very polished.
