Description

There are many miles of trails in McDowell Mountain Park and the adjoining McDowell Sonoran Preserve, but I always try to work in the Coachwhip Trail. The flow for bikes seems better than the other Pemberton area trails. It can be ridden either direction in combination withe Dixie Mine Trail to form a detour to add a few more miles to the Pemberton loop.

There is just enough of an elevation gain heading to the western edge where it joins the Windmill Trail to offer a nice view of the Superstitions and Four Peaks area.
