Description

After a short bit of smooth singletrack you start to climb. The climb features several tight twists and turns between rocks and small ledges. Once through the climb, two quick sharp drops deposit you in an arroyo followed by two challenging sections getting back out.

You'll quickly arrive at the Wilderness access for the Domingo Baca Trail where you'll turn left and downhill. This downhill stretch is known locally by several names including "rock and roll" and "rocky DH." Either way, it's rough and will rattle anything loose free. Go slow and it will be no big deal, but it is pretty easy to let your speed get out of control for the few tight turns that come up surprisingly quickly. Lots of nice side-hits to pop off of. This trail ends when it joins up with 365, the Foothills Trail.

The dreaded rock-slide feature is better taken with balanced power than all-out mashing.
