Starting from the top of Animas Mountain, the descent begins gradually, with beautiful views of the La Platas. Once you've had your fill with the various viewing spots, turn your focus back onto the descending trail for a wild and fun ride through a nicely carved and curvy line back down the mountain. It is hard-packed singletrack with occasional loose rocky sections. If you choose to climb this blue Trail instead, watch out for quickly descending riders and hikers.
